Immortal Spirits: A Halloween Fundraiser & Farewell Party at CSI Annex

October 17, 2025By Helen YungIn Art, Events, News

Poster for Immortal Spirits Oct 31 event at 720 Bathurst St (Toronto) featuring a person with neon paint on their face, neck and upper torso.

Social change requires social and cultural infrastructure, which is a fancy way of saying change happens when people come together with care around art, community, and making special. The Lab’s innovative collaborations between artists + changemakers all started with people at the Centre for Social Innovation, folks like Tonya Surman, Marie Moliner, Adil Dhalla, and Elke Grenzer, all saying, “Yes, let’s!”

Social spaces and social experiences that go beyond the normal, where people’s boundaries soften and more permissiveness happens, open up the necessary realms for connective links to form and create pathways to alternative futures.

So… this October 31, get away from your desk, step away from the sofa! The Lab is collaborating with CSI for one last hoorah at 720 Bathurst (the building has been sold!*) and inviting you to surrender to the magic of All Hallow’s Eve…

Come together to dance, laugh, enjoy, and be transformed at the most fabulous fundraiser and farewell party. Read more about the multi-floor party here! Use promo codes EARLYLAB and ADVANCELAB for a $10 discount on Toronto’s most exciting Halloween event before the early pricing is all gone. (If you want to get in free, get in touch about volunteering.) Tickets for sale here.

The party will go late, but arrive early for live performances by:

  • Aqua Nibii Waawaaskone and her band, Red, Rhythm & Blues
  • Ergosphere featuring Juno-nominated Annabelle Chvostek, Dora-nominated Lucy Rupert, and past TDT-EntryWaves-resident artist Jen Hum;
  • Multi-faceted dance artists Aisha Sasha John and Nyda Kwasowsky improvising on the fifth floor.

It’s a Halloween party, so come in costume! Party guests will also get to visit the Fantasy Lash Bar by Winks Boutique, with free beauty giveaways from The Ordinary, and a special UV body painting station by Electric Sunshine featuring live painting by Cynthia Undyantara (while supplies last!).

*The CSI Annex building has been sold; everyone is moving to CSI Spadina which will continue to operate at 192 Spadina Avenue.
