Social change requires social and cultural infrastructure, which is a fancy way of saying change happens when people come together with care around art, community, and making special. The Lab’s innovative collaborations between artists + changemakers all started with people at the Centre for Social Innovation, folks like Tonya Surman, Marie Moliner, Adil Dhalla, and Elke Grenzer, all saying, “Yes, let’s!”
Social spaces and social experiences that go beyond the normal, where people’s boundaries soften and more permissiveness happens, open up the necessary realms for connective links to form and create pathways to alternative futures.
So… this October 31, get away from your desk, step away from the sofa! The Lab is collaborating with CSI for one last hoorah at 720 Bathurst (the building has been sold!*) and inviting you to surrender to the magic of All Hallow’s Eve…
Come together to dance, laugh, enjoy, and be transformed at the most fabulous fundraiser and farewell party. Read more about the multi-floor party here! Use promo codes EARLYLAB and ADVANCELAB for a $10 discount on Toronto’s most exciting Halloween event before the early pricing is all gone.
