Opportunities

We are always interested in learning about people who might be a good fit for the kind of work we do. We are a small, busy company. Most opportunities are project-based.

Please send your resume or CV to jobs@artisticintelligence.com. A formal cover letter is not necessary, but it would be helpful to hear how you think and communicate over email. Here are a few conversational prompts, if you would like one:

• What do you hope to get out of working with us? How would working with the Lab help you?
• If you are an artist or researcher, how do you see your work connecting with ours?
• If you are a consultant, or aspiring to be one, what kinds of clients or partnerships would you bring or cultivate?

The Lab welcomes newcomers seeking an opportunity to gain Canadian experience relevant to their professional interests and work history. Part of our research is in developing and working through meaningful ways of experimenting with communicating, working, and being in complexity across bodies of knowledge and experience.

When we have the capacity, we prefer to prioritize people over projects. This means we try to recruit, first, based on our interest in the person, their abilities, their ways of thinking, and their interest in our methods and us. We then identify or develop the projects best suited to their skill sets after.
